Linda Ellsworth

Linda Ellsworth passed away peacefully on September 15,2024 surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. She's finally pain free and in heaven with her son. 

Linda was born July 25, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Shirley Janey, and her son Gary Ellsworth II.

She is survived by her husband Gary Ellsworth I of 43 wonderful years, her daughter and son in law Shanan (Ellsworth) Webb and Stephen Webb. Her sisters, Wendy Taylor and Lora Shaffer; Daughters in law Nickkia Ellsworth and Crystal Laird. Her grandchildren that helped her with her illness Dillen Webb and Brittany (Wagner) Webb. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with all of her grandchildren Xavier Webb, Sierra Laird, Aspen Ellsworth, Novana Ellsworth, Logan Burress, Novia Ellsworth, Gary Ellsworth III. She was ecstatic about having two Great Grandchildren Amaya Webb and the newest member Skylar Webb. She also enjoyed spending time with our dogs (Gemma and Rascal) having movie nights with her husband, and having family over for cookouts. 

Linda made friends with anyone she met. She had an upbeat attitude about life even in her time of suffering. Her family was her biggest support system and they meant the world to her. She was a true fighter, but there comes a time in every ones life, when God calls you home. As a family, we are happy she isn't suffering anymore. She has family in heaven that will welcome her until we all can be reunited one day.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM with a funeral service to follow.  Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.  (2829 Rennoc Road, Knoxville, TN 37918)
