Linda Ann Sweeney

Linda Ann Sweeney, age 74 of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. She was a faithful member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church. She was a loving homemaker, care giver, mother, and nana. She was preceded in death by beloved parents, Helen and Elmer Raby; daughter, Sherry Huff; and special cousin, Joann Wilson. She is survived by loving sons, Jerry Huff and Gregory Cates; daughter, Misty Sweeney; and special daughter-in-law, Sam; siblings, Bobby (Melba) Roberts and Gail (Paul) Clifton; grandchildren, Brandon, Kayla (Dean), Micah, Brittney, Trey, Tanner (Allison), Taylor, Destiny, Savannah, Peyton; great-grandchildren, Mason, Diana and Rhett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Monday, September 5, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Friends and family will meet at Clapps Chapel on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 for a 2:30pm graveside service. In lieu of flowers family ask that donations be made towards funeral expenses.
