Lillie Mae Holbert Sharp, age 87, born April 1, 1933, passed from this world to her Heavenly home on May 21, 2020. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Edward “Ed” Sharp. Survived by her children Warren (Irene) Sharp and Wayne Sharp; grandchildren: Adam (Marlene) Sharp, Michael Sharp, Lindsey (Daniel) Sharp Rutherford and Bradley (Samantha) Sharp; great-grandchildren: Alicia, Adrianna and Maverick. Lillie Mae graduated from Central High School on 1951 and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Fountain City, where she worked as the church secretary for 40 years before retiring to care for her husband in his declining health. Church, her family, and the flowers in her garden were her joys in life. She enjoyed hosting family night where everyone would come share a meal and play games. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at River Oaks, Lenoir City where Lillie Mae made her home for the last 5 years, and the care givers at River Grove, Loudon, for their care the last few days of her life. A very special thank you to her friend and caregiver Jackie Johnson from a Nanny to a Granny. Due to COVOD-19 restrictions there will not be a formal visitation.
