Lillie Mae Hipshire

Lillie Mae (Dumpy) Hipshire, age 89 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord September 5, 2022. She was a member of Fairview Knox in Corryton, TN. She worked at the Standard Knitting Mill for 30 years. Dumpy had a fiery spirit and she loved her family. Preceded in death by husband of over 50 years George Hipshire, sons George “Pete” Hipshire Jr. and Gary Franklin Shinlever, parents Avis and Harold Hicks. Survived by sons Wayne (Judy) Shinlever and Lonnie Ray (Michelle) Hipshire, daughter-in-law Karen Shinlever, many specially loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 11:00-1:00pm Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow at 1:00pm, Dr. Jeff Laborg officiating.
