Lewis Steven Smith

Lewis Steven Smith, age 81 passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Parkwest Medical Center. Mr. Smith was an avid fan of all of the University of Tennessee sports teams, especially U.T. football, where his loyalty never wavered. He had the greenest thumb and loved working in his yard. He was especially known for his legendary Tulips and Azaleas. Preceded in death by his parents W.B. and Inez Smith; siblings: Bart, Margaret, Graham, Bill and Jack. He is survived by his daughter Scarlett (Reese) Thomas, son Joseph “Joey” Smith, granddaughter Taylor Fox and great-granddaughter Hadley Fox; brother David (Carrie) Smith, sister Nancy Ford; dear friend Jeff Ward and his dog Chico. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Family and friends will meet on Friday, May 7, 2021 by 1:45 pm at Lebanon Cemetery on UpStream Lane in Creek Bend Farms Subdivision in the Karns community for a 2:00 pm graveside service.
