Lewis Sexton

Lewis L. Sexton, also known as “Uncle Santa Claus,” age 81, went to be with the Lord on February 19th, 2017. Preceded in death by parents Caswell and Mattie Sexton; daughter Susan Sexton; brothers William and Columbus B. Sexton; sisters Delphie Bridges, Lottie Walls, Esther Medlin. Survived by daughter and son-in-law Mary Lee and Allen Letourueau; son Lewis L. Sexton Jr. (Buster); grandchildren Billy Lawson, Chasity McGuire, Jason Blair; other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Juanita and Robert Kelley; sister Flora Johnson; special niece and nephew Gloria and Tim Hall; special ladies Ruth Brown and Mildred Ray; special companion Janice Staton. Service will be held 7:00 pm Friday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Vonzell Whetsell officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Valley View Cemetery in Elk Valley, TN for 11:00 am interment.
