Lewis Nelson Horner, age 95, of Knoxville, passed away December 9, 2014. He was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church and a retired engineer with Alcoa Aluminum Company. He was a Mason for 69 years belonging to Bright Hope Lodge #775 and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by parents and brothers Lloyd and J. Walter Horner. Survivors include wife Aileen Horner, sister Elizabeth Oakes of Nashville, daughter-in-law LeAnn Russell, grandchildren Josh Horner and wife Lindsey, Jason Horner, and Kristen Horner, great grandson Jordan Horner, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Masonic service will be held 11:30 am Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will then proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service, Rev. Dave Ward officiating.
