Leta Fortner Torbush

Leta Fortner Torbush, age 88 of Knoxville, passed away January 13, 2022. She attended Union Baptist Church. Leta retired from Food City after many years. Preceded in death parents Jobie and Macie Fortner, brother Arthur Fortner, and sister-in-law Carol Fortner. Survived by sisters Delores Welch and Leola Powell (George), brother Walter Fortner (Judy), several nieces and nephews, special friends Lucy Ellis and Kathy Dickenson. Family will receive friends 6:00-7:00pm Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Gary Vandergriff officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45pm Friday, January 21, 2022, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm interment.
