Lester Julian Bennett Sr., born in Hahira Georgia on January 15, 1944 and passed away on Thursday July 23, 2020 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He was a respected, educated, and accomplished man that had knowledge of all things in life and could do most anything he set his mind to. He spent most of his life in Florida, but wanted to be in Tennessee where he retired and moved to. He loved the simple things in life like sitting on the porch in the rocking chair and talking about old times and his crazy life stories, but most of all he enjoyed talking to and being with loved ones as often as possible, that was all he cared about. He truly loved his kids and grandkids and talked about them and all the precious memoires every single day. He was so happy in the end and very much at peace with his best buddy Becky. He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Juanita Vaughn, third wife Joyce, fourth wife Cindy, along with his brothers Junior and Gene. He is survived by his sisters Margie and Dorothy, his children from oldest to youngest, Lester Jr, Jeanette, Steven, Tammy, and Pamela, 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Tuesday July 28, 2020 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a Funeral Service to follow Officiated by Rev. Jimbo Duncan. Family and friends will then proceed to Stock Creek Cemetery for a Graveside Service. Online condolences can be made at www.mynattfh.com.
