Lertia "Nickie" M. Schaad

Lertia "Nickie" M. Clark Schaad of Halls Crossroads, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 19, 2017. She was a member of Old Pleasant Gap Baptist Church, and a graduate of Halls High School Class of 1953. She retired from Standard Knitting Mills. Preceded in death by husband, John Schaad; special friend, Harold Lyninger; parents, Dail Clark and Chloie Graves Clark; brothers, Lester, James H. (Delores), Robert E. and Elmer "Big E" Clark; sister, Helen Dills Blattenberger. Survived by brothers, Paul Clark of Halls, Chester (Ina) Clark of Florida; sister, Jane Clark (Pete) Humphrey of Florida; sisters-in-law, Louise Clark of Knoxville, Shelda Clark of Heiskell; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and special friends. Pallbearers will be Clyde Clark, Bob Clark, Gilbert Watson, Eddie Williams, Jeff Dyer. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Terry Sawyer and Rev. Cody Haynes officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:30 am Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for 11:00 am interment.
