1st Sgt. Leonard Ray Llewellyn, U.S. Army Retired, age 74 of Knoxville, passed away on April 13, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith. He served four years in the U.S. Navy, three years in the Honor Guard in Washington D.C. and 22 years in the U.S. Army, was a Vietnam Veteran and was retired from Civil Service after 19 years. Preceded in death by: parents, Tate & Addie Llewellyn; brothers, Howard, Bobby and Ralph Llewellyn; sisters, Oreda Smith, Lorine Dockins and Emalee Reynolds. Surviovors: wife of 53 years, Patsy Llewellyn; son, Anthony Llewellyn & fiancé Tracy; grandson, Jordan Llewellyn; brother, Paul Llewellyn & wife Ailene; several nieces and nephews. Service 8pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with Rev. Johnny Price officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:30 Thursday to go in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00 interment. . Pallbearers will be Jeff, Jason & Allen Toole, Wayne White, Sonny Ferguson, Marty Llewellyn, Jordan Llewellyn. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
