Lenore Greenway (Myers), age 102, of Fountain city, passed away on Thursday, August 18th, 2016. Lenore was born September 17th, 1914 in Pinhook, TN. She worked at the Agriculture Department at the University of Tennessee for several years, but was primarily a loving mother and wife to two daughters, Betsy and Linda, and her husband, Kenneth. Lenore was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Fountain City. After their retirement, the two of them became avid travelers and toured the country in their R.V. for years. Lenore also loved quilting and made sure everyone in her immediate family had one of her treasured quilts. Lenore was one of nine siblings, survived by her youngest brother, A.C. Myers and also by her daughter, Betsy Davis, daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Keith Kinney; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Kelsey and Robbie Levering and great-granddaughters, Ella and Chloe Levering. She is also survived by step-granddaughter, Stacy Kinney and step-grandson, Drue Kinney and many nieces, nephews, caregivers and other loved ones. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22nd, 2016 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City, with funeral service to begin at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Ron Mouser officiating. Interment service will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
