Lenoir Cardwell

Lenoir Welch Cardwell, age 99 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. Charter member of New Beginning Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was loved by many. Preceded in death by parents William and Martha Welch, husbands Frank Mackey and Jack Cardwell, daughter Barbara Ann Capps, son Joe Mitchell, grandsons Jackie and Danny Everett and 14 siblings. Survivors, daughter Rita Everett; grandchildren, Debra Wade, Kathy Southers and husband Roy, Steve Everett and wife Barbara, great grandchildren; Allen Grady and wife Heather, Kevin Hicks and wife Stephanie, Kerrie Moody and husband Matt, Shane Everett, Kristin Williams and husband Cory; great great grandchildren Jake, Madi, Rylee and Reece Grady, Kaylen Hicks and Ericka Moody; sister Jeannie Irwin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service 3pm Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. David Nicley officiating. Interment to follow at Copper Ridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 to 3 pm Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Pallbearers will be grandson, great grandsons and nephews.
