Lena Maxine Miller

Lena Maxine Miller, age 80, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at Willow Ridge Nursing Home in Maynardville. Preceded in death by husband, Chalmer Miller; mother, Gladys Welch; father, Unes Welch; brothers, Dennis, Albert, and Everett (Bud) Welch; sisters, Eula Welch, Myrtle Coker, and Welmia Kitts. Survived by daughters, Doris Miller and Debra Lee; granddaughter and husband, Christa and Roger Hall; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Kinnley Hall; sisters, Lula Ellison and Christine Hensley; brothers, Archie, Howard, Gleason, and Carlos Welch. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Jody Winstead officiating. Roger Hall, David Vandergriff, Charles Coker, Gleason Welch, Carlos Welch, and Bobby Hampshire will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Sunday at Hines Creek Cemetery for 2:00 pm interment.
