Lela Marie Butcher

Lela (Marie) Butcher passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 following a brief illness. She was a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church and loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved to travel and was an X-Ray Technician and Lab Technician at K-25 and worked at University of Tennessee Medical Center for a number of years. Preceded in death by mother Lela Vera Butcher and father W. S. Butcher. Survived by sister Virginia Lee Butcher; aunt Lana St. George of California; cousins Vickie Gregory (Boyd) and children, Michael Byrd (Linda) and children, Susan Day (Roger) and children and many other cousins. Special thanks to Trish Wing and the church family at Christus Victor Lutheran Church. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Monday at Woodhaven Chapel and Memorial Gardens for 11:00 am entombment service. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 9:00 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
