Leauctrica "Judy" Hancock age 83 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 14, 2024 after a brief illness. Judy was retired from K-mart as Assistant Manager of Human Resources, member of the Red Hat Society, Past Worthy High Priestess of the White Shrine of Jerusalem OES, and member of Callahan Road Baptist Church. Judy was the Election officer at Pleasant Ridge Elementary School and Harvest Park for early voting. Preceded in death by her husband, James Eli Hancock; daughter, Deborah Hancock; parents, Claude and Lorene Tippens; brothers, Al Tippens, Craig Tippens and Donnie Tippens; sister-in-law, Mickey Tippens. Survivors; Daughter and son-in-law, Genevieve and Mark Moore; granddaughter, Danielle (Joe) Ridenour; grandson, Nathan (Tara) Moore; great-grandchildren, Emma and Aria Ridenour; brother, Steve Tippens; special nephew and wife, Kevin and Misty Tippens; special great nieces, Marlee, Emma and Sydney Tippens; sister-in-law, Sharon Tippens; several other nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Mike Patty officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Sutherland Avenue for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service. Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
