Leamon Hill

Hill, Leamon, went to spend a glorious eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his wife Doris Hill, father and mother Thurman and Eller Hill, sisters June Sexton, Betty Mingee, Pina Keller, Dottie Hill and brother Harold Hill. He is greatly loved and already missed by surviving daughter and son-in-law Diane and Cletus Mitchell of Farragut, grandchildren Emily and Brian Lanius of Powell, Jeremy and Amy Brock of Fountain City, and Christopher and Deb Mitchell of San Francisco, CA, great-grandchildren Caleb Lanius and Memphis Brock, sister Emmerdell Lester of Halls, sister Lottie Rollag of Sioux Falls, SD, and brother and sister-in-law Woody and Charlene Hill of Huntsville, AL. He had many wonderful nieces, nephews, and loving relatives in the Hill and Miller families. The family would like to thank the folks of Amedisys Home Health and Amedisys Hospice for the love and care they gave to “Papaw” and to the family. They would also like to thank Jason Smith of East Tennessee Personal Care for the many hours he spent taking excellent care of “Boss”. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, ETCH Donation, 2018 Clinch Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37901-5010. Funeral service will be 7 PM Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Clay Mulford officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery 10:45 AM Thursday for interment and Full Military Honors. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
