Reverend L.B. Herrell passed away on February 1, 2019 at 10:30am. Though always quick with a story or a laugh, and passionate about raccoon hunting, he realized that these were, in the end, mere vanities. His family and church thank God almighty that there is no sadness in the departure of L.B., for he was saved as a young child by the grace of Jesus Christ. Called to preach, and to pastor several churches, L.B. tried to decrease that he may, through the preached word given to him by the Holy Ghost, preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who survive L.B. on this earth, know that for him, to die was truly gain, for he has now crossed the river into a land of unending gladness and love. We thank God for L.B.’s service as a preacher, pastor and we are most thankful that he left a testimony of his salvation, such that it can comfort the hearts of those who loved him on this earth.
