Lawrence "Larry" Trotterchaud

Lawrence “Larry” Trotterchaud, age 74, of Powell, TN passed away peacefully Sunday, April 9, 2023. He loved traveling around the world with his Angel Girl of 55 years and spending time with her and his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. Larry also enjoyed golf and loved his yearly golf outings with the “cod heads.”

Larry worked 42 years as a Teamster, where his career life was driven by helping the working-class fight for better wages, benefits, and working conditions. Larry spent many years as secretary-treasurer of Teamsters Local Union 519. He loved the Teamsters.

Preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Fern Trotterchaud; special mother-in-law, Barbara Nicely; and brother-in-law, Jim Aldridge.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Trotterchaud; son, Wes (Kim) Trotterchaud; daughter, Lori (Tony) Price; grandchildren, Chase, Bekah, Lexi, Ian, Lakin, and Allie; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Sawyer, Bowie, and Tilly; sister, Karen Aldridge; as well as many loving cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Powell United Methodist Church from 4-6 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Celebration of Life to follow.
