Lawrence Madden, age 78, passed away December 9, 2013. He was a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He was the author of “Jesus: Who He Is, What He Offers, What He Asks”. He was a lifelong student and teacher of the Bible. He bowled in Monday Night Fellowship League for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by parents, Isaac and Elizabeth Madden; brothers Isaac Jr. and Lewis Madden. He is survived by loving wife of 41 years, Bertha Madden; daughters Teresa Madden Hale (Douglas), Pam Drummer (Steve), Jennifer Madden, Lori Hunt (Norman); son Steve Madden; sister Bernice Wolfenbarger; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Fred Mingie; grandchildren Shannon and James Hale, David and Jonathan Madden, Joshua and Jeremy Lee Moyers, Evan and Katelyn Drummer, and Conner Madden; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends Donna and Ron McConkey and Paul and Stephanie Carter. Service will be 7pm Thursday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family will meet 8:45am Friday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for 9am graveside service.
