Laverne Mclain Cummings

LaVerne McLain Cummings, of Knoxville, suddenly went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 at Parkwest Hospital. Preceded in death by parents Ed and Mildred McLain, grandson Chad Breeden, and sister Sandra Leach. Survived by loving husband Harlan J. Cummings, daughter Angelia (Bob) Love, son Brent Cox, grandson whom she raised Matthew (Amber) Cox, granddaughters Amanda Dykes and Brittney Russell, sisters Faye (Roger) Neff and Burlene Tolman, as well as 6 great grandkids. She was looking forward to seeing her great grandson Grantley expected in August. Sisters-in-law Charlene (Leonard) Landis, Charlotte Farrell, brother-in-law Bobby Cummings. Extended adopted family Scott and Patty Warwick, Katie, Kendall, Grant, and Brett. She was a member of Inskip Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Inskip Baptist Church “Together We Can.” The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 from 12:00-1:30 PM at Inskip Baptist Church, with a service to follow at 1:30 PM.
