Laura “Laurie” R Cole born July, 14 1988, age 30. Her beautiful soul left us for heaven on November 5, 2018. She will always be remembered for her generous and caring heart, infectious smile, and fun- loving spirit. She had the courage to overcome so many difficult struggles in her life. We will miss her every day and look forward to the day we will be together again. Untill then we will take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in God’s hands. The family would like to thank the many friends at North Acres Baptist Church and the girls at Never Alone Halfway House for continually loving and supporting her. Preceded in death by her Daddy, Don Cole Jr.; Granny, Jean Fender; and Uncle, Steve Cole. Survived by her Mumsey and Stepdad, Diane and Rob Payton; Papaw and Mamaw, Don Sr. and Sue Cole; Grandparents, Arlie Fender and Vickie Davis; Sister and Brother-in-law, Kristen and Colton Sample; Uncle and Aunt, Jim and Janet Fender; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her memory to The Helen Ross McNabb Center (5310 Ball Camp Pike, Knoxville, TN 37921) or The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (446 Metroplex Dr Ste A-224, Nashville, TN 37211). The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 10th from 5:00-7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a service to follow, Reverend William Purvis officiating with music by Brad Carlisle and NABC Choir, and accompaniment by Melanie Carlisle. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Sunday, November 11th at 12:45pm for a 1:00pm interment. Pallbearers will be, Blake Forbes, Bob White, James Purvis, Robert Purvis, Christian Dudley and Johnie Carter.
