Larry James Davis

Larry James Davis, age 71, passed away at his home in Louisville, TN, on December 23rd, 2013. He was a graduate of Claiborne County High school and The University of Tennessee, College of Engineering. He served in the United States Air Force and was retired from Aluminum Corp. of America. Preceded in death by son, Jeffrey James Davis; parents, Monte & Ethel Davis. Survived by daughter, Jennifer Davis; sisters, Linda Gail Poling (Ron), Lana Cheryll Jones, Debi Minton (Larry); nephew, Brent Poling; nieces, Misti Burke, Tiffany Poling, Monica Minton; and family friend/caregiver, Patricia “Trish” Cole. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery Maintenance Fund, 7916 Pedigo Road, Knoxville, TN 37938, (865) 938-7075. Funeral service 11am Saturday, Rev. Ron Poling officiating, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with interment to follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends 10 - 11am Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
