Larry G. Sewell

Larry G. Sewell, born July 21, 1936, passed away December 8, 2021. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He owned and operated a carpet installation business for many years. Larry was an avid UT football and Nascar fan, and loved to fish. Preceded in death by parents Mildred and Cecil Sewell, brothers Jackie and David Sewell, sister Diane Hines. Survived by wife of 50 years Genie Sewell, children Pam Foust, Greg Sewell, and Robby (Camilla) Matthews, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters Cecelia Lindsey and Susan Hill, brother-in-law Bill Frye, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Donnie McGinnis officiating.
