Lanny Roff

Lanny Roff, age 77, passed away September 18, 2017. Lanny was born in Johnson City, NY. He was a veteran of the US AirForce before joining the Department of Defense. He served his country for 19 years while living in England before returning to Maryland and retiring to Tennessee after 51 years of government service. He was a member of the Knoxville Artists Association. Preceded in death by mother, Viola Roff; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Donald Fargo; mother-in-law, Violet Charman; grandson, Joshua Lindauer. Lanny was a loving husband of 48 years to Maureen Roff; father of Michael (Sylvia) Roff, Debbie (Joe) Hartman and Justine Elliott; grandfather of Benjamin Clark, Jason Lindauer, Brandon Roff, Amy Hill, April Lindauer, Emily Elliott and McKenzie Elliott; great grandfather of Raelyn Clark; and uncle to Claudia, Nancy, Tom and Ann. Memorial service will be held 1PM Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Preacher Terry Clabough officiating.
