Lagonda Faye Moody Widner passed away peacefully at 4:00pm, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Parkwest Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Widner; her parents, Charles (Buddy) and Margaret Lett Moody; her brother, Charles W. (Bill) and his wife Carol.
She is survived by her three children, Melissa (Rodney) Barnes, Maria (John) Pietuszka, an David (Deborah) Allen; her three grandchildren, Cameron, Alexis and Natalie; her siblings brother, Gene (Bea) Moody and sister, Cathy (Donny) Ballard; her nieces and nephews, extended family and friends; beloved sisters-in-law, Kathryn (Bobby) Waggoner, Mary Waggoner and their children. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and wanted us all to love and support each other.
A special thanks to all the staff, nurses and doctors at Parkwest Hospital. Her doctors, Dr. James Howell (Angela Twarzynski), Dr. Paul DCruz, Dr. Sudhirkumar Patel, Dr. Tia Bryan and Dr. Bashar Bargoty; Nurses, Logan, Tessa, Matt, Kirsten, and Sarah; her caregivers, Susan Simcox, Deb Van Houten and Kelli Friedmann; special thanks for the beautiful flowers by Terri Eckel; special thanks to Ted and Karen for all your love and support.
Family and friends will meet at Bells Campground Cemetery for a graveside service on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00pm with Rev. Charles Lawson and Rev. Harrold Preyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to the National Brest Cancer Foundation, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
