L. Lonzo Rodgers

L. Lonzo “Lon” Rodgers, born April 4, 1939, went home to be with his Savior on December 2, 2021. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Lon was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Rodgers; parents, Caney Rodgers and Icie Moreland Rodgers; and brothers and sister. He is survived by his son, James (Margaret) Rodgers and Bradley West; daughter, Cynthia (Wiley) Warwick; grandson, Jonathan (Annie) Warwick; great-granddaughter, Sadie Warwick; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Mike (Suzanne) Ishmel & family, David & Donna Stooksbury; Bill & Shirley Hammock, Mike Berry, and many more. Family will receive friends 5:30pm – 7:00pm, Tuesday, December 7, 2021, in the chapel at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00pm. Friends and family will meet 12:45pm Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at New Loyston Cemetery for a 1:00pm interment. Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
