L. Elizabeth Capps, born September 24, 1919, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2016. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Woodrow Drive, and a retired bookkeeper with Knoxville Boys Club. Preceded in death by husband, Rubin Capps. Survived by stepchildren Larry and wife, Jeana Capps, Fred Capps, Mike Capps, and Martha Benfield; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet 12:45 pm Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Alcoa Highway, for 1:00 pm graveside service, grandson, Pastor Kent Capps, officiating.
