Kyle "Pete" Walker

Kyle (Pete) Walker, age 65 of Halls, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at home. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid car enthusiast. Preceded in death by parents Ira and Hazel Walker. Survived by wife Ruth Walker; son and daughter-in-law Forrest and Kristi Walker; grandsons Travis and Cameron Walker; sister Katherine Farmer; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Tennessee Cancer Specialists and Amedisys Hospice employees. Funeral service 6:30 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Richard Nicely and Rev. John Holland officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:30 am Monday at the funeral home and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center or American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Travis Walker, Cameron Walker, Ryan Farmer, Tommy Donaldson, Kenny Lester and Reggie Barnes. Family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:30 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
