Kristi Dawn Capps, age 39 of Clinton originally from Knoxville, went to be with Jesus on November 3, 2013. Kristi was a member of Halls Christian Church. She was March of Dimes Poster Child for 1980 and 1981; also a girl scout. She was a very talented artist and a participant of Special Olympics. She attended Young Center, Fort Sanders Developmental Center and graduated from Rutledge High School. Kristi touched many hearts with her smile and testimony of her Saviors love, grace and mercy. She will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by grandparents, George (PeeWee) and Louise Cash; great-grandmother, Hattie Price; step dad, Freddy Capps, Jr. Survived by mother, Janice Cash Capps; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Kevin Saltkill; dearly loved nephews, Austin and Alex; “Her Nana” Virginia Woods; uncles, Jerry Cash (Linda), Larry Cash (Susan); aunt, Lisa Scott; seven cousins (including her favorite) David Cash; special friends, Larry Woods, Jan Morris, Lorie Keel, Gary and Pat Crotty, David Mynatt S.D. Funeral service 8:00 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Larry Woods officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Grandview Memorial for 11:00 am interment. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
