Kimberly Virginia Childress

Ms. Kimberly Virginia Childress was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Kimberly will be remembered as a very exceptional person.       She was the daughter of Kenneth & Billie Childress, born in Knoxville, TN in 1979.      Kimberly was raised with one sibling. She had a brother, Steven.      Kimberly worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs.      Fortunately, Kimberly enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Kimberly worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Kimberly always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.      Kimberly’s faith was important to her. She attended West View Weslyan Church.       She is survived by son Jacob Ward, parents Kenneth and Billie Childress, brother and sister-in-law Steven and Karen Childress, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services were held at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Kimberly was laid to rest in Indian Bluff Missionary Baptist Church.      Simply stated, Kimberly was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Kimberly leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Ms. Kimberly Virginia Childress.
