Kimberly Jill Smiddy

Heaven gained another angel this week when Kimberly Jill Smiddy passed away unexpectedly at home on April 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving mother Carolyn "Eva" Smiddy. She leaves behind two dearly loved sons Eddie Sheckels and Brandon Sheckels, her adored grandson Gevin Sheckels, and her partner of many years Lynn Doyle. She is also survived by her three siblings Stacy (Ricky) Cheek, Pam (Tom) Scott, Bo Smiddy, nieces Kori Pickell, Stephanie (Diego) Tomas, and Nikki Scott, nephew Brian Taylor. Jill was funny, warm and especially kind to all who knew her and always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. She loved all animals, especially her dog Zelda. We loved her dearly and are devastated at her sudden passing, the hole she leaves in the family is immense. The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, April 16, 2021, with an 8:00pm service to follow. Friends and family will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 12:45am on Saturday, April 17, 2021, for a 1:00pm graveside service.
