Kevin Hugh Smith

Kevin Hugh Smith age 50, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Kevin was a Christ follower, and in the beginning attended Corryton Baptist Church, then through most of his adult walk he attended Fairview Church, and most recently attended Clear Springs Baptist Church. Kevin attended Halls Middle and High School, going on to graduate from Gatlinburg Pittman High School class of 1992. Kevin attended University of Tennessee where he was a walk on for the football team. Kevin was also a very avid golfer. Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Koressa D. Smith, children, Abby and Aiden Smith, parents, Doug and Lola Smith, brother and sister-in-law, Doug Jr. and Karen Smith, and niece Nora Smith. The family will receive friends Monday, April 22, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Clear Springs Baptist Church, immediately followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Steve Owenby and Pastor Justin Pratt. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 10:45 am at Texas Valley Cemetery for an 11:00 am inurnment service officiated by Pastor C.H. Qualls.
