Kevin R. Eckhoff

Kevin Eckhoff, age 56, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Knoxville, TN. He was born July 31, 1960 in Queens, NY to his loving parents, Anne Marie Eckhoff (pre-deceased) and Daniel Eckhoff. He is survived by his adoring daughter Taylor Danielle Eckhoff and fiancé Christopher Smith; father Daniel Eckhoff; sister and brother-in-law Karen and Tom Ledesma; sister Jeannie Eckhoff; and brother and sister-in-law Michael and Consuelo Eckhoff. He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew. Kevin was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His daughter Taylor was the light of his life and he loved her dearly. He was an avid sports fan, compassionate, and always had a smile on his face. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and recently retired from the U.S.P.S. after 35 years. He will be greatly missed by many. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kevin’s name to Bethany Christian Services Knoxville, 318 Erin Drive Suite 10, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919-6212.
