Kevin Michael Lowe

Kevin M Lowe, 61, of Weeki Wachee, FL, passed away on July 22, 2021 while in Hospice care. He was born in Pontiac, MI, on August 4, 1959, son of the late Alfred G, Jr and Eunice Lowe. He is survived by his spouse of over 30 years, Sheryl Locklear Lowe, his three sons, Steven (Jennifer) Abernethy of Mechanicsville, VA, Michael Lowe (Angelita Borrero) of Charlotte, NC and Marshall (Jessica) Lowe of Athens, TN, along with three grandchildren (August, Danielle and Alexandra) all of Mechanicsville, VA. He is also survived by his five siblings, Roy (Marsha) Lowe of Charlotte, NC, Michele (Daniel) Smith of Hixson, TN, David (Sandy Peakcock) Lowe of Kodak, TN, Brian (Meg) Lowe of St. Paul, MN and Kelley (Steve) Gardner of Knoxville, TN, numerous nieces and nephews, along with his mother-in-law, Janice Radziejewski of Florida and brother-in-law, Scott (Mary) Locklear, of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his late father-in-law, Bernice Locklear, and his step-father in law, Robert Radziejewski of Florida. Kevin spent his entire professional career in the Tire Distribution industry. As an owner/operator of Quality Care Tire Centers in the late 1980’s to his most recent 10 years with Trelleborg Wheel Systems in Tampa, FL he earned a reputation as a leader who exceeded customer expectations by creating growth strategies, effective marketing campaigns, coordinating facility expansions and relocations to analyzing P&L statements and providing top level customer service. He loved to travel both personally and professionally and most enjoyed when his wife could join him abroad. He played a key role on two different occasions in organizing, planning and executing successful dealer councils in both Italy and Spain. Kevin exemplified the saying, work hard to play hard. He loved the water and all sports associated with it. It was not unusual to catch him floating in his pool on his motorized float lounger. He loved to golf and until recently you would find him on a green every chance he got. He loved sports and especially his beloved Tampa Bay Bucs. The family will receive friends Friday, July 30th 5:00-7:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm at Central Church of God, 4721 Papermill Dr, Knoxville, TN 37909, with Pastor Stephan Gardner officiating. Family and friends will gather Saturday, July 31st at 10:45 am at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service.
