Kenneth Edward Mccurry (Stymie)

Kenneth Edward McCurry (Stymie), age 55 of Corryton, passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 23, 2015. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Corryton. He was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. Preceded in death by father, Clarence (Bud) McCurry. Survived by daughter, Vanessa McCurry of Knoxville; mother, Mary McCurry of Corryton; sisters and brother-in-laws, Linda & Keith Miller, Brenda & Bill Lawrence of Knoxville, Alice & Tommy Woody, Betty & Allen Conard, and Laura & James Muncey of Corryton; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby & Deborah McCurry of Knoxville, , Ronnie (Red) McCurry and Donald McCurry of Corryton; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Tim Inklebarger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church. Pallbearers: James Muncey, Keith Steadman, Timmy Williams, Chris Lester, Jay Gordon Dalton, and Frank Dalton. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Wednesday at Blaines Chapel Cemetery, Corryton for 2:00 pm interment.
