Kenneth E. Hawkins

Kenneth E. Hawkins, age 83, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, October 1, 2018. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of North Acres Baptist Church. Throughout his life he worked at Plastiline, Coke Cola, and Safelite Glass. He is preceded in death by parents Luther and Hassie Hawkins, sister Georgia Ensor, and son-in-law Bill Mehlhorn. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Betty C. Hawkins, children; Robin (John) Nicely, Kimberly A. Mehlhorn, William W. Hawkins (Candy), grandchildren; Justin Hawkins, Jarrod Hawkins and sister Joyce Felknor. Serving as pallbearers are: Justin Hawkins, Jarrod Hawkins, Bill Hawkins, Mark Boling, Matthew Boling, and Eddie Monday. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. The funeral will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Lynch officiating.
