Katrina Kay Hunter

Katrina Kay Hunter age 47 gained her angel wings on October 1st, 2021. Katrina was a beloved blessed daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and granddaughter. She was dear to everyone she met. Katrina was funny and always had people that know her smiling or laughing before long. She liked things her way and would express so, if it wasn’t. She always had a smile for her friends and family. Katrina will always be in our hearts and sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Katrina is survived by her mother; Teresa Sanders Vaughn, father; Daniel R. Hunter, brother; Ray (Tracy) Hunter, nephew; Jacob Hunter, niece; Katelyn Hunter, her aunt; Linda Sanders Blazier, and uncle; John M. (Kathy) Sanders, and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Katrina was preceded in death by her stepdad; John R.Vaughn, grandmother; Geraldine McKinney Beeler, and uncle; Eddie Blazier. Her family extends a special thanks to all of the Staff at open Arms Care in Knoxville, who loved and cared for Katrina. Her family will receive friends from 3:00pm-4:30pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. A celebration of life will follow with Reverends Jonathan and Erin Angel officiating. The family requests that masks be worn during the visitation and service.
