Kathryn Edna Mannis

Kathryn Edna Kirby Mannis, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2022, at Sacred Ground Hospice House, surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered as a kind and devoted wife and mother. She was of the Baptist Faith. Although her earthly presence will be missed, we rest in knowing that her passing is heaven’s gain. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Glenn and Vivian Elliott, Husbands Otis Kirby and Cecil Mannis. She is survived by her sons Tim Kirby (Tina) and Scott Kirby; step-children Jan Rector (Jim), Eddie Mannis, (Blake), Robby Mannis (Kevin), Leanne Alleman (Keith); Grandchildren, Matt Kirby, Ben Kirby and Abby Lis; step-grandchildren, Crissy Thurman (Jason), Misty Lyons (Lorie), Aaron Rector (Tara), Jason Rector (Jennifer), Ansley and Carter Beard and Cooper and Shepherd Alleman; step-great grandchildren Caleb Thurman, Calen and Evan Burkhart, Ashley and Jamie Rector, Andrew and Vivienne Rector and Lilia Beverly (Zach), Nathan and Savanna Keel. She was also a dear friend to many others. Graveside service and interment will be on Wednesday, September 7 at 11:00 am at Meridian Baptist Church Cemetery, 6598 Sevierville Pike. Rev. Jerry Dyer will be officiating.
