Kathryn Edith Cole Jenkins

Kathryn Edith Cole Jenkins, age 89, of Powell passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Carl R. Jenkins Sr.; parents William Everett Cole and Mollie Loretta Cole; brothers Wayne Cole and Carl Shirley Cole; sisters Evelyn Gilbert and Betty Holloway. Survived by sons Carl Jr. and wife Deborah Jenkins, Mike and wife Missy Jenkins and Billy and wife Kim Jenkins; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother Clarence Cole; and sisters Hazel Jackson, Carolyn Brooks and Dottie Qualls. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday, at Black Oak Heights Baptist Church, with funeral service to follow at 7:00pm, with Dr. J.C. Parrott, Dr. Todd Stinnett and Rev. Randy Singleton officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45am, Friday, at Highland Memorial Cemetery for interment at 11:00am. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
