Kathern Czarina Bolin Collins

Kathern “Kathy” Czarina Bolin Collins was born September 29, 1969 to her mother, Evelina Cannon Mize, and her father Farnum “Coot” Bolin and left this earth February 3, 2018. Her father, mother and stepfather, Charles Mize, preceded her in death. She leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Alvin Collins, Sr, and their children, whom she adored, Alvin Jr. (Brittany), Charles, Jonathon, Katie and Derrick. Kathy was a devoted mammaw to her seven grandchildren: Nevaeh, Michael, Kyrstin, Tysin, Britain, Brayden, and Elijah. Her three older sisters, who spoiled her as the baby of the family, survive Kathy: Carolyn Dossett, Beatrice Fletcher (who referred to Kathy as Kathy Lou) and Toni Litton. Kathy was extremely proud of her family and her many loving extended family members and friends. Kathy enjoyed life on her terms and enjoyed the outdoors, being with and caring for her husband, children and grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 7, 2018 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Graveside services will be officiated by Pastor Jason Creech, of A Church Called Home, on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Kathy will be buried next to her father Farnum “Coot” Bolin at Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains.
