Katherine Maples Coffey

Katherine Maples Coffey, age 94 of Odessa, Florida, formerly of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2016. She was an avid quilter and belonged to Cypress Creek Quilters Guild. Preceded in death by husband, O.H. Coffey and son, Frank Coffey. Survived by son, James A. Coffey and wife Jane; daughters, Barbara Coffey Morris and husband David, Sylvia “Polly” Batista and husband Michael, Darlene Browning and husband Leroy; daughter-in-law, Wilma Coffey; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Ralph McGhee officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Lifepath Hospice, 3010 West Azeele Street, Tampa, FL 33609. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Wednesday at Eastview Cemetery for 11:00 am interment.
