Katherine L. Mccarter Spears

Katherine L. Spears, age 77 of Powell, TN passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016. She was born October 10, 1938 in Knoxville and married Don. L. Spears on October 11, 1954. Kat was a devoted and loving wife, mother and caregiver to many special cats and dogs. Preceded in death by, husband, Don L. Spears, mother Geneva and step-father Clyde Peterson and brother Lynn McCarter. Survivors are her 3 sons, Donnie, Mike and David Spears all of Powell. Family and friends will meet 9:45 am Thursday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment service at 10am, Rev. Jim Duncan officiating.
