Karen Caul Boyer, age 72, passed away December 3, 2021. A lifelong resident of Knoxville, Karen was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1967. She was a long-time member of the Episcopal Church. She loved reading, gardening in her flowers, and having birthday and holiday celebrations for family and friends. She always wanted everyone to have a birthday celebration no matter how old.
She was preceded is death by her parents, Ilene Cooke and Oliver Earl Caul and her son-in-law Byron Harmon.
Karen is survived by her husband of 54 years Paul; daughters Crystal, April (Bobby); Holli (Joe); sister Vicki (David) Dotson; grandchildren: Dustin, Ian, Shane (Kim), and Preston; great-grandson Shiloh; nieces: Janet, Jacqueline and Caroline; nephews: Andrew, Lakan, Peyton, and Owen. Extra special to Nana were her bonus grandchildren: Alex, Cai, Billie, Phillip, Laurel, Ciara, and Riley.
Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday, December 8th, at Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 9th, at Greenwood Cemetery on Tazewell Pike with Dana Fachman officiating.
