Kaelynn Nicole Wathen

Kaelynn “KK” Nicole Wathen age 16, of Knoxville went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2023.  She was born on November 15, 2006 in Lafayette, Indiana.  In her short life Kaelynn won the love of all who knew her.  She had a smile that would light up the room.  Kaelynn lived life to the fullest.  She loved spending time listening to music, swimming, shopping and just enjoyed life.  Survived by loving grandmother, Kathryn Miller of Knoxville, Dad: Chris Meyers, grandparents: Mike & Kathy Meyers, Momma: Nikki Cottrell, Mom: Jackie Meyers (Danny), aunt: Jenny (Jason) Grahl, siblings and cousins: Andrea Marine, Tyler (Emalyn and Amelia) Marine, Stevie Atchley, Cainan Burchfield, Leah (Garrett) Gray, Sydney Grahl, Cole Grahl, Brent Meyers, Ava Cottrell, and many other friends and relatives.  The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service Rev. Franklin Eppinette officiating.  Family and friends will meet 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City to leave in procession for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Fort Sumter Community Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Chris Meyers, Jason Grahl, Tyler Marine, Cainan Burchfield, Garrett Gray and Cole Grahl.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
