June Rutherford Cox age 85 of LaFollette, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born on June 11, 1933. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She had a passion for fashion and loved to bake and cook, especially for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Helen Chitwood, brother J.P. Chitwood, husbands Charles Gaylor Rutherford and Charles Edwin Cox, and nephew Gregory Kirby. She is survived by her daughters Scott Younce and husband Brian of LaFollette, TN and Robin Rutherford Barnhill of Powell, TN, sister Wanda Gaddis and husband Jerry of Powell, TN, grandchildren Caroline Younce, Emme Younce, Charles “Koz” Barnhill and fiancee Lynnsey Nance, Jessica Barnhill, Ashley Barnhill, and their father David Barnhill, her beloved fur baby Burton Barnhill, and many other family members and friends who she loved dearly. Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mynatt Funeral Home, Hall’s Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
