Judy Whitaker

Judy F Whitaker, 78, Completed her heavenly journey on January 15, 2024. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a long-time employee of The University of Tennessee where she spent most of her career and was an avid Tennessee fan! She was a proud grandmother, great-grandmother and loved her family deeply. She is proceeded in death by her late beloved husband of 54 years, Ray B. Whitaker, brother, James C Manis, and sister Helen Thacker. She is survived by her son, Gary (Missy) Whitaker and daughter Connie (Eddie) Kelley. Grandchildren, Phillip (Chelsey) Whitaker, Whitney (Matt) Field, Brandon Whitaker, and Jalyn (Jayla) Lyons. Great-Grandsons, Noah and Lincoln Field, Bryson and Barrett Whitaker. Special brother Harold (Linda) Manis, Dan Manis, and sister Vinette Christian and a very special sister in love, Nancy (Richard) Ellis. Special longtime friends, Dorothy Torbett and Wanda Swinney. Several Nieces and Nephews.

A special thanks to Covenant Hospice and the Serenity House in Morristown for the care they provided for our dear Mother. Per Judy’s request, there will be no services and will be cremated per her wishes.
