Judy Maria Hickman

Judy Maria Hickman went home to be with Jesus on July 16, 2021 at the age of 78. Judy was born and raised in Powell but was a resident of Seymour, TN. As a long-time active member of Providence Baptist Church, she was a dedicated servant of the Lord. Judy was the librarian, the comedian, encourager and involved in the Women’s Missionary Union, She was well-known by many and loved by all who met her. Judy was married 63 years to David, her husband. She is preceded in death by her Mom and Pop Taylor, her mother, Billie Sherrill, her father, Gus Aethranis, daughter Jamie Hickman and son, Michael Hickman. She is survived by David, her husband, her sisters Sherry Hurst and Gayle Cross, her son, Evan Hickman and daughters Julie Scott and Amber Hickman. Her grandchildren Amanda Hickman, Erin Hickman, McKenzie Hickman, Mason Hickman, Alicia Doane, Erica Richards, Kaeli Plont, Robel Scott, Gelila Scott, Taylor Hickman, Alex Hickman and AJ Hickman and 12 great-grandchildren. Judy loved the Lord more than anything and is rejoicing in being His presence today. She is finally home at the feet of her Savior, most assuredly making everyone smile, just as she did on earth. Visitation is on July 24, 2021 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Providence Baptist Church--5766 Sevierville Rd (411), Seymour, TN 37865. A celebration of life service will follow at 4:00pm.
