Judy Anne Bolden Koontz, age 71, of Knoxville, TN suddenly passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. The family is deeply saddened by her passing.
She was born on October 25, 1950, attended South High School, and lived in Knoxville most of her life.
Judy was loved by everyone that met her. She would light up a room, not only with her sweet loving personality, but with her light up shoes or maybe it was a light up shirt or necklace. No one ever knew what to expect, but one thing is certain, she loved all things shiny and bright, just like her personality. She was a kid at heart.
She would say things like, "When I grow up I want to...". She had "treasure boxes" filled with all kinds of lazer pointers, pocket knifes, novelty lighters and many other "gadgets". Her children and grandchildren remember spending many hours of their childhood adoring those treasures. She still had them to share. She was a very giving person and would always help anyone she could.

She loved motorcycles her whole life. She owned one until recent years. She would have still had one if her health would have allowed. In her younger years she went to school for small gas engine repair. She worked at Sears doing small gas engine repair, but eventually transferred to the warehouse. She had many talents. She was quite the artist and loved to draw and do crafts of all kinds. She could play almost any instrument by ear. Some of her favorite instruments were the clarinet, organ, harmonica and guitar. On rare occasions she would sing karaoke. She would join her family and friends for karaoke most weekends. It was a real treat when she would grace everyone with a song and her shy smile. She will be forever missed by everyone.
