Judy Ann O'Dell

Judy O’Dell, age 75, of Knoxville passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Moose Lodge. Preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Joe “Pop” and Merl Ottinger; mother, Ruth Bough; sister, Betty Dickson; great-grandson, Elli Stapp. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 58 years, Bob “Papa” O’Dell; daughters, Robin (Raymond) Stapp and Valarie Moore; grandchildren, Courtney (Geoff) Cusick, Brittani (Brentt) Arrowood, Josh (Rachel) Stapp, Heath (Emily) Moore, Cody Lowery; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Lynn (Chuck) Robinson, Pat Cockrum, Tammy (Rick) Lowery, Jeff (Donna) Roland. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hannah, RN, Sonya Khimani, MD and the rest of the staff of UT Hospital Cardiac Care 4th floor for everything they did to help our family. Special thanks also to special friends, Melissa Troutman, Vanessa Asquith, and host of many more, to many to name individual. The family will receive family and friends Wednesday, August 10th 6:00-8:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a funeral to follow with Rev. Jonathan Tharpe officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm on Thursday, August 11th at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 12:30 pm interment service.
